Licinius I, 308-324. Follis (Bronze, 20 mm, 2.77 g, 12 h), Rome, 313. IMP LICINIVS P F AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Licinius I to right. Rev. MARTI CO-NSERVATORI / R - F / R S Mars standing front, head to right, holding inverted spear in his right hand and placing his left on shield set on the ground. RIC 7. Extremely rare. Slightly rough and with minor areas of weakness, otherwise, good very fine.

This type is exceedingly rare, as RIC recorded a single example from officina S, and none from the other officinae. Two further examples are now known, both in the Ramskold collection.
